Patty hoisch
Patty Hoisch was raised in Flagstaff, Arizona in an art-loving home where music lessons and art supplies took a high priority in the household budget.
Patty’s first job was working as a lapidarist in the early 1970s, where she learned the art of inlay and bead making from stone and shell in the back room of a store in downtown Flagstaff on Rte. 66. She started her own jewelry company, “Wild Hare Arts” in 2003, while employed with a nationally known jewelry company. She became fully a self-employed artist in 2008.
Patty hand carves all of her original metal components in wax, which are then cast in solid sterling silver or bronze in Sedona, AZ. Her designs are inspired by the spirit of Northern Arizona’s wild places. Her love of fine craftsmanship shows in her work.
