Cyd Martin

Currently based in Minnesota, Cyd has lived and worked throughout the West. Her primary painting focus is western landscapes. Especially passionate about canyon country, she is fascinated by the magic of light on the geometry of cliffs, slopes and water. Cyd carries sketchbooks on hikes and river trips, working in graphite and watercolor. She uses those sketches and photographs as references for her studio work in oil.
